Summer Camp

“An adult works to perfect the environment, but children work to perfect being themselves.”

— Maria Montessori

Young explorers, big adventures

At Montessori School of Miami Shores, summer is a season of joyful discovery. Our camp invites children to engage in hands-on learning, outdoor play, and creative exploration through thoughtfully designed weekly themes. Each day brings new opportunities to imagine, create, and connect—always rooted in the Montessori philosophy.

Whether your child is new to our community or a returning student, Summer Camp is a chance to stay curious, build friendships, and experience the rhythm of a Montessori day in a fun, and engaging setting.

Toddler Camp (18 months–3 years)

Toddlers enjoy a peaceful and playful environment designed just for them. With familiar Montessori lessons, sensory-rich activities, and supportive routines, they grow in language, coordination, and social confidence—while having fun with themes, music, and water play.

Summer Camp (3–7 years)

For older campers, each week centers on an exciting cultural or science-based theme. Whether learning about cultural traditions,  animals around the world or experimenting with simple machines, students connect big ideas to real-world experiences through projects, games, and collaborative work.

"I can not say enough good things about this school. My oldest son is in his fifth year and my youngest in his first. They focus on the whole child and do a wonderful job inspiring little minds. The entire staff is very caring and nurturing. The school itself is very clean, well organized and safe. I am so thankful to have found this gem in Miami."
